Water Filtration in Mesquite, Fitted to Older Plumbing
We install whole-home filtration, water softeners, reverse osmosis and UV water treatment in homes across Mesquite, Balch Springs and Sunnyvale. Before we quote, we look at what is already in your walls: old shutoffs, patched lines and past repairs. Then you get a system that fits the plumbing you actually have.
- Old shutoffs checked first
- Installed by subcontracted master-licensed plumbers
- 1-year workmanship warranty on installation-related defects
- Line-item written quotes
What We Install
We install four kinds of systems. Whole-home filtration works on every tap in the house, and it is the usual fix for chlorine taste and smell. Reverse osmosis fits in the cabinet under your kitchen sink and handles the water you drink and cook with. We only suggest water softeners or UV water treatment when your results show a reason for them.

Whole-Home Filtration
One filter on the main line so every faucet, shower and appliance gets cleaner-tasting water, installed with care for older pipes.

Water Softeners
Softeners sized to your water's hardness and fitted to aging plumbing, with a straight answer when your home doesn't need one.

Reverse Osmosis
An under-sink reverse osmosis system for cleaner drinking and cooking water, fitted around the old valves and past repairs found in many sink cabinets.

UV Water Treatment
An ultraviolet lamp at your main line that stops bacteria and viruses from multiplying, with a pre-filter set up for older plumbing.

About Water Filtration Mesquite
We put filtration systems into homes around Mesquite. A lot of them are older houses, and older houses have quirks. Valves that stick. Pipe that changes material halfway across the attic. A water heater someone moved in the nineties and never quite finished.
We would rather find those things on the first visit than on install day. So we look, we tell you what we see in plain words, and we quote the job that is really there. Then we do the work neatly and leave your home the way we found it.

What Moves the Price
Two homes can get the same filter and pay different amounts. Most of the difference is the plumbing around it. These are the things that change the number on your quote.
Your quote is written and line by line, and we go over it on the phone or at your home. Standard professional installation included for qualifying homes.
- Which system you pick
- A whole-house tank takes more pipe work and more hours than reverse osmosis tucked under the sink. A softener also brings a brine tank and a drain line.
- Where the main line enters
- An easy spot in the garage is quick work. A cramped utility closet or a line buried in a slab takes more time and more fittings.
- Condition of old pipes and valves
- Brittle shutoffs, corroded galvanized sections or a sloppy old repair may need to be replaced at the tie-in point. We show you what we found first.
- Drain and power needs
- Softeners and reverse osmosis need a place to drain. UV units need an outlet nearby. If either is missing, that work is added to the quote.
- How much water you use at once
- A house with three baths and five people pulls a lot more water at one time than a couple in a two-bedroom. We size the system so the shower still runs strong while the washer is going.
- Upkeep down the road
- Filters, membranes and UV bulbs get replaced on a schedule. We tell you what each one costs to keep running before you choose.
Why Homeowners Pick Us
Most surprises on a filtration job come from the plumbing, not the filter. We plan for that up front.
We look before we quote
We find where your main line comes in and check the shutoff valve. A gate valve that has not turned in twenty years can snap. We tell you about it before the job, not halfway through.
We read the old repairs
Older houses carry other people's fixes. A mix of copper, galvanized and plastic pipe, or a joint that was patched in a hurry. We note it and plan the tie-in around it.
Your quote is written out
You see the system, the parts and the labor as separate lines. If a bypass valve or a new shutoff is needed, it is on there.
No system you do not need
If your water does not call for a softener, we say so. Plenty of homes only need good carbon filtration or an under-sink unit.
We clean up after
Drop cloths go down where we work. Old fittings and boxes leave with us, and we run the taps with you before we go.

Questions We Get Asked
Something not covered here? (972) 947-9421
Do I need a water softener?
Maybe not. Plenty of homes do fine without one. We test your water first, and if the hardness does not justify a softener, we will tell you and point you to a filter that fits better.
Will a filter get rid of the chlorine taste?
Yes, that is the most common reason people call us. City water is disinfected, and that can leave a taste and smell. A whole-home carbon system takes it out at every tap, including the shower.
My house has old pipes. Should I worry about what is in them?
Old plumbing can add metals to water as it sits in the line. That is about your pipes, not the city supply. An under-sink reverse osmosis unit gives you cleaner drinking and cooking water at the kitchen tap, and we can talk through whether that fits your home.
What happens if your installer finds a bad valve or pipe?
We stop and show you. We explain what it is, why it matters for the install and what it would take to fix. Nothing extra gets done until you say yes.
Is there a warranty?
Yes. Every system we put in comes with a 1-year workmanship warranty, and it covers installation-related defects. Think of the fittings and connections made where the system joins your pipes. If one of those gives you trouble inside that first year, phone us and we come back to set it right.
How long will my water be off?
For an under-sink unit, usually a short stretch. A whole-home system or softener takes longer since we cut into the main line. We give you a time window before we start so you can plan showers and laundry.
How do I get a quote?
Phone us. We set up a visit, test your water and look at your plumbing. Then you get a written quote, and we go over it by phone or in person.
How a Job Runs
Simple steps, and you know what is next at each one.
- 1
You phone us
Let us know what is going on. Maybe the water smells like a pool, leaves white film on the dishes, or you just wonder about those old pipes. We pick a time to come by.
- 2
We check the water and the plumbing
We test your water and look over your main line, the shutoff and the spot where a system would sit. You get a written water report that shows what we found.
- 3
You get a written quote
We match a system to your results and your plumbing. You see the parts, labor and any valve or pipe work as separate lines.
- 4
Install day
Water is off for part of the day while the system goes in. We pull a permit if the job needs one. We flush the lines, check every joint for leaks and show you the bypass valve.
- 5
After the install
We walk you through filter changes and leave the schedule with you. If something about the install acts up, phone us.

Find Out What Your Home Needs
We will look at your water and your plumbing, then give you a quote that covers the whole job. No guessing about what is behind the wall.
